Kenya's most corrupt company, Safaricom's power girl Sylvia Mulinge has broken her silence and confirmed that Safaricom indeed sent lobbyists to enable her to get a work permit, a crucial document Tanzania authorities have denied the controversial Safaricom executive.
Tanzania has denied Sylvia Mulinge work permit over integrity issues. The Safaricom executive was linked to a murder saga where she hit an 8-year old girl on the southern by-pass, killing her instantly. Miss Mulinge was drunk at the time and was overspeeding. You can't believe she drunk at 11; 30 am and was driving a vehicle, Prado, registered under Safaricom LTD.
Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore, the Guyana immigrant colluded with Mulinge, not to report the incident to Vodafone as per the Safety regulations. Mulinge later pocketed the system hence walking free after the editor of this site lobbied for the Office Of The Director Of Public Prosecutions, the then Keriako Tobiko to reactivate the case.
As reported a few days ago, by your favourite blog nyakundireport.com, Telecoms operator Vodacom Tanzania has appointed an acting managing director after it failed to unlock a work permit stalemate that has kept Safaricom’s Sylvia Mulinge from taking up the position five months since her appointment.
Reacting to news that Tanzania has rejected her, Sylvia Mulinge, who spoke to Safaricom controlled Business Daily Africa tried to do some damage control by saying this
“Have you met any Kenyan who is trying to get a work permit in Tanzania? It takes a while. They just told us to be patient as they work on it,” she said.
“They have not given us any negative feedback and neither have they confirmed. They just told us to wait as they follow the process.”
Mulinge, a pathological liar refused to tell the meat-wrapper newspaper that 400 other foreigners were given work permits including those from Uganda and Rwanda. So, do the rules change when it applies to Kenyans?
Also, this is not a matter of "Kenyans" Sylvia Mulinge is in this shit alone and all Kenyans were not there when she was killing a minor, engaging in tenders corruption as per KPMG Audit report and all Kenyans were not there when Mulinge was launching failed products at Kenya's most corrupt company, Safaricom.
Sad that Mulinge would say it has been the case with Kenyans, without naming the Kenyans involved.
As we reported earlier, Safaricom sent lobbyists, using the company and shareholders resources, to bobby for Sylvia Mulinge's appointment and the probability that these efforts will succeed remain a big question.
