Early this year, one Jeremiah Gisembe and Hosbon Gisembe who are brothers allegedly bought an open public space and started excavating with an aim of developing the open space.
Even though this piece is riparian land they were able to manoeuvre through corrupt officials at the ministry of lands and get titles.
During excavation, they forcefully brought down a wall that was put up by Mrs Gesare who is a sickly aged woman.

They have claimed repeatedly that the country belongs to a few who have and they do not fear any court because they do not lack the finances to even bribe a magistrate or even a plaintiffs lawyer.
Even though maps from the Kenya survey clearly show that the Gisembe brothers who claim to be billionaires from Sudan are occupying public space, no government office has tried to bring normalcy to this issue.
