Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko News reaching our desk this evening is that Nairobi governor Mike Sonko wants digital entrepreneurs in his county to start paying taxes. From the 1st of July 2019, online traders who sell their goods on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram will be expected to contribute towards City Hall's budget. The move is expected to affect many young Kenyans who have heavily invested in virtual market stores due to the lack of jobs in the country. Sonko also wants to increase parking fees barely six months after reducing it to Ksh. 200.
