My name is Lean and I met Fabian Dan last December on Tinder in Nairobi and I fell in love with him. We decided to have a long distance relationship until I moved to Nairobi from May-June. I supported him emotionally and financially because I loved him and I thought he loved me.
I have given him more than 650,000 Ksh for an apartment, food, transportation, dental work, health needs, internet, and support for his sick mom, etc. I also gave him my MacBook laptop computer. In June, I caught him cheating on me with one of my best friends, a woman who’d come all the way to Kenya to visit me. I have since found out that he was lying to me the whole time, that the money I gave was not used how he said.
He was manipulating my love! He lied to me about working for Del Monte, how they didn’t pay him, how he got jumped by goons, how his car got swept away in a flood, and how he couldn’t eat for days. He knew how to manipulate my generosity, my love, my belief in people’s rights and dignity.
He is a conman! I thought he loved me but he was using me for my money and resources. He told me he needed money to help his sick mother in Oyugis - he even took me all the way there to meet her and some of his family! I’ve recently found out he’d given her NOTHING. I could understand lying to help your sick mother but he lied to her and his siblings, too! People need to know about this fraud! He needs to be held accountable!
I have met previous ex’s he has cheated on and stole money from. Kenyan women who he’s mistreated and psychologically abused for over five YEARS! I have met previous colleagues that he has stolen money from. This must stop! I wish someone would have warned me about him. His legacy of hurting and taking from people ends now.
