This is a guy that believes that taking selfies with the corrupt and inserting the words, 'youths and jobs', hijacking the hashtag #StopTheseThieves is appealing to Kenyans.
No, Mr. Ambassador, this is not how things are done.
After an interview in a local TV station, woke of our woke and valiant public defenders and intellectuals called him out on a number of issues.
One particular one is the support for use of coal power in the Lamu basin.
The US Ambassador was asked this:

The findings of a study by the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) shows that the Lamu Coal Power is not the best choice for Kenya. In China, air pollution is killing over 1 million people and costing Chinese economy 267 billion yuan (US$38 billion) a year in the form of early deaths and lost food production, this is according to research conducted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong .
Coal does not only affect the people in the vicinity, it has implications far and wide.
