Kabete MP George Muchai has been shot dead at Kenyatta Avenue roundabout in Nairobi.
The MP and three others, including his driver and two bodyguards died during the 3am incident.
According to the St John Ambulance services who responded to a call of the incident, the unknown assailants were in a Toyota Probox with sealed number plates.
The attackers intercepted the MP's car before opening fire and killing all the occupants of the MP's vehicle.
Police have cordoned off the area to facilitate investigations into the attack.
