Shock and Outrage as Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria makes another hate remark (Uncircumcised Community)

Barely hours after he made a public apology for posting hate remarks on his Facebook page, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was at it again, his sensational statement this time referring to the Bible. He referred to Genesis 17:14 which says: “And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.” The post created a storm in social media, attracting nearly 300 reactions. Kenyans felt the MP was not sincere when he made the apology. Mr Ken Mwaniki said: “Moses Kuria! What kind of leadership is this? Yet you represent the President in Gatundu … Now when you insult our lakeside brothers, do you expect them not to hit back? Seriously, what kind of a nation are we building?” REGRETTED Earlier, Mr Kuria, who was accompanied by lawyer Francis Munyororo and officials from both the National Cohesion and Integration Commission and the Law Society of Kenya, said he regretted making his earlier hateful statement. “It was not aimed at creating disharmony among Kenyans,” he said. Mr Solomon Kipruto Chivile said: “Surely you are now taking your hatred towards the Luos too far. Quoting Biblical scriptures out of context ain’t a right thing to do. It seems you are determined to divide the already divided nation on tribal basis.” Another by Mr Vinny Madola said: “Mheshimiwa, you need to respect yourself. You need to talk to the people with the firmness that opens their eyes and not with the anger that arouses their emotions.
