Murkomen speaking at the BBI launch at Bomas where he was booed by Owino and his colleagues Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has faced heavy backlash from netizens after a controversial Facebook post made by the legislator targeting Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen.
It all started when Murkomen castigated Mr. Owino and his colleagues for heckling him at Bomas during the launch of the BBI report earlier this week.
The senator said the boos from “women” such as Homa Bay Representative Gladys Wanga, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino his Likoni counterpart Mishi Mboko. As expected, Babu quickly took to social media to react to the comments made by the upper house's Majority Leader and was certainly not kind with his words.
In the post that has sparked outrage among Kenyans, the former SONU Chairman made homophobic remarks aimed at Murkomen. Despite it not being the first time Babu has been too strong in expressing himself, there was a general feeling among netizens that this time the youthful MP, perhaps, stooped too low.
