On Sunday morning, blogger Robert Alai and Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi were involved in a heated exchange over Equity Bank's students sponsorship program.
It all started after the lawyer sent a tweet congratulating the bank and its management for sponsoring over 16,000 students into top Universities across the United States.
Alai then responded to Ahmednasir claiming his remarks were false, and that majority of the program's scholarships are local with very few meant for international universities. He then posed a question to the Kenyan lawyer and asked him if he knew the process of getting into an Ivy League institution and asked him to do some research.
It was at this moment that the Senior Counsel decided to drag Robert right in front of the spectating public.
He responded by saying that he didn't need to know the cost and the process of getting admitted into an Ivy League institution since he was admitted into an Ivy League Law School as a young man. Adding that he doesn't need to do any research, for personal experience is the best testimony.
