A row is brewing over the development of a housing estate at the Athi River EPZA site to be undertaken through joint venture partnership: international tender no: RFP/EPZA/01/2019-2020 Below is what the residents say: It is frustrating that the procurement team at EPZA does not want to cooperate and do a proper bid. This project was advertised and the tender documents did not appear until after 10 days eating into valuable bidding time. We are then expected to design, prepare bills of quantities, look for finance, design a marketing strategy and commit to a bid prices per square metre! The least the authority could do is extend the bid submission date to a reasonable time. Please look into this issue, since it is beginning to look like the bid...
