It is so simple to track money-launderers simply by investigating property development firms books, and vetting the owners. Unlike Deputy Chief Justice Kalpana Rawal who knows how to hide her identity and execute frauds using companies registered by offshore specialists, many Kenyans have bought them upfront.
All the money that has been looted from Eurobond, NYS, Youth Fund, Counties, Banks, etc has been used to purchase property. It's plain and simple. We find it hypocritical when Central Bank/EACC fails to remit customer deposits, yet they can easily track property owned by the fraudsters.
For instance, Imperial Bank was cross-owned together with the owners of Kenblest Industries, who also own Pam Golding Properties. The money they stole has been building the expensive projects they have been undertaking. You probably still eat Kenblest bread yet the directors stole your money. Why can't CBK attach caveats on Kenblest and Pam Golding Properties assets and do it transparently to calm markets and restore hope in the financial system?
