Built Through Partnership The project is being implemented under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the Government of Kenya and Rift Valley Highway Limited. This is a consortium led by French engineering giant Vinci Highways . Valued at over KSh 180 billion , it stands as one of Africa’s largest PPP infrastructure projects. Under the Build–Operate–Transfer model, the consortium will construct, manage, and maintain the highway for 30 years before handing it back to the government.
