Writing to this blog on Wednesday, July 13, a trusted insider within the government body disclosed how top PSC officials recently accepted to take part in a costly 10-day "training" trip hosted at a private hotel in Arusha, Tanzania. Each participant received Sh. 1 million as per diem and a further Sh1 million was issued as imprest to cater for costs for the trip.
However, the greedy Chairman, all Commissioners, Secretary, and 3 Directors took advantage of the voyage to mint some quick extra cash by compromising immigration officials at the border to stamp in for different dates to account for their total days outside the country.
Once they were back, they hid away from the office till the training days lapsed. This can be confirmed via their phone signals. Once they were back, they hid away from the office till the training days lapsed. They traveled in 3 GoK Prados and a van.
