We the concerned employee of POSTA feel that continued exposure of scums at POSTA is the only way Kenyans will know and perhaps start demanding for answers.
Professional accountants are supposed to include all assets and liabilities in financial statements. But where the Board of Directors and top management to collude to exclude some of the assets in the financial statements, is a confirmation of looting and plunder. Some of the assets affected are; Nairobi LR 1/1317 (Yaya Land), Nairobi block LR No. 209/14422 (Upper Hill Land), Kiambu LR 2/284, Embu Mun No. 1986 ( opposite Stadium Embu), Mombasa block/XXVI/194 (Kizingo). Whoever is interested should demand financial statements and will notice the omission but he/she should not be duped with assets register.

The Board of Directors and top management have literary sold the lands and buildings in the guise of sub-leasing and letting. It is not possible to put up permanent structures some being multi-million storey buildings on a plot whose lease period is only five years and three months. The tenants who are directors and top management using proxies, their family members and friends are very much aware that at the end of the lease period will not have recouped the investments. Therefore the Board and top management should not take us for fools. We know they have irregularly and illegally disposed those properties.
We the concerned employees interacted with a friendly lawyer who told us that anything done irregularly and illegally has no backing of the law. All that the government need to do is to evict the so-called tenants without even going to court the same way Air-gate mall was brought down.
When the first expose came out, the Board and CEO instructed the Corporation Secretary to do a management paper to remove the 5 years and 3 months lease period to indefinite. We the concerned employee are telling Mr. Opini if he does not know the road to Kamiti, let him ask those who have spend weekends are guests of state to show him the direction.
We are asking those nearer the presidency that looting and plunder at the post office has reached alarming stage. The head of state should do something to stop looting and plunder.
