There has been around 400,00 readers on this post in 4 hours. Kenyans, you have to keenly read this article and act to Stop Safaricom’s corporate greed. Open Letter to all Kenyans. Dear men and women, there are two photographs on this page and while they might look like they are similar, they have different words printed on them ( Safaricom and Suffericom ) Yet, Incredibly they represent the same company ( Safaricom ) the kind that leaves deep and irreparable scars on a nation and its people for a lifetime.
Kenyans have been complaining on how Safaricom has been stealing from them in many ways: Bundles, Airtime and third parties Just a tip of the gigantic iceberg. The Safaricom goes ahead to act like they care about this country with their cheap PR gimmicks. In a nutshell, the plight of many Kenyans is not new and something must be urgently done to save this country from the jaws of this greedy company. The war has started. The Kenyan media has no moral authority to highlight injustices committed by Safaricom because they earn millions by advertising with them.
This is the plight of our brothers and sisters who used to work for Safaricom and after falling ill due to work related illness, they were illegally laid off. Most of them are fighting the injustices committed to them by this corporate but the Journey to justice is taking a long time and since there is power on the Web, I decided to meet some of them ( Names withheld ) to listen to their sad story. What I saw and heard broke my heart.
By the way, The fellas I spoke to used to be Safaricom call center employees along Mombasa road. They were illegally relieved after they started suffering from a condition called Acoustic shock syndrome. This is a very serious condition which is usually an involuntarily response to sound perceived as traumatic ( mostly loud uneven sound near the ear ) . There are myriad symptoms of this disease which include numbness or burning sensation around the ear snip
When I spoke to these Kenyans who offered to work for Safaricom with dedication, they told me the condition was mainly promoted by the cheap and fake headphones the call Centers were using even as Safaricom brags of earning Billions in profits. Life has been hell my brother, one of them told me as he cleared tears from his face We have reason to believe that our brothers and sisters have been frustrated as they seek for Justice. The reality is that they developed this condition while working for Safaricom even if the greedy managers have tried to deny the obvious. Safaricom is only concerned with profits cannot fight the truth.
My girlfriend and I went to check on these Kenyans and what we saw broke our hearts. Why is this happening to our brothers and sisters? They retired them with little pay and no medical insurance because they are poor and can do nothing about this. I have never been ashamed of being Kenyan that much.
What Safaricom is doing is little more than terrorizing our dear brothers and sisters. Many are suffering in silence because they don’t have the freedom to come out openly and speak out , lets fight for them and shame the greedy people out to make money .
Safaricom knows the government will not care as our people are being abused. Yet no Newspaper or politician is raising the suffering of our brothers and sisters. Our people were illegally retired to die like dogs . This is totally and plainly unacceptable. And Safaricom is accountable to itself. Any time someone comes out to speak about these evils, they muzzle them using many means. But the truth will always win no matter how long it takes.
This can happen to anyone out there. We are demanding that all employees who got retired get justice and such future happenings are mitigated. It is time for Kenyans to come out and say enough is enough, we have given you too much and it is time to forcibly seize it back.
We need to fully grasp, and without doubt that our fellow Kenyans, dignified, ambitious and innocent have been terrorized, brutalized, undermined and dehumanized by Safaricom. This is Bullshit, Dedan Kimathi did not die for this….This modern slavery must be abolished if not today, NOW.
I can say without doubt that this is criminal and cannot be tolerated.

You are now the only truthful means we have to spread the message. Contact politicians, contact newspapers, radio and television stations. Demand that your voice is heard.
