Parklands Arya Girls High School A new witness has come forward to shed light on the corrupt practices that continue to take place at Arya Girls' High School, a public secondary school in Westlands Constituency, Nairobi County.

The school, which has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons, has been the subject of numerous submissions from concerned parents, who have exposed the extensive fraud and extortion orchestrated by the Senior Principal, Madam Rhoda Ogaro.

According to the anonymous source, the school, despite being a public institution, has been demanding outrageous amounts of money from parents, especially during student admissions.

The source revealed that during the latest admission exercise, uniforms were being issued by the school despite a recent government order prohibiting the same, at a staggering cost of Ksh 32,000.

Additionally, plates and cups were being sold for Ksh 500, with parents being asked to pay even more money if they lacked sports items.

In previous articles regarding the deteriorating state of affairs at the school, attention was also drawn to the gross unprofessionalism of its teachers who are often underpaid, demoralized, and always desperate to make some quick cash by whichever means necessary.

This unprofessionalism is reportedly backed by the principal, who is running a money-making scheme with the help of the teachers.

It is a sad state of affairs at Arya Girls' High School, where the welfare of parents and students appears to be of little concern to those in charge.

It is time for the relevant authorities to take action and bring an end to the corrupt practices of this school.
