Online mercenaries hired by troubled National Oil CEO Maryjane Mwangi spent the better part of Monday afternoon discrediting Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi's work and labeling him as a source of fake news.
This comes just days after Nyakundi announced that he would be serializing the multi-billion fraud at the National Oil Corporation of Kenya with one of the key targets of the campaign being rogue CEO Maryjane Mwangi, who the blogger has pointed out as the mastermind of the cartel.
Following the first and second expose on this site, Maryjane Mwangi was sent into deep panic and resulted in hiring Twitter bots who were given clear instructions; discrediting the renowned blogger's credibility and painting him as a vile, fake news merchant who is maliciously trying to bring down a hard working CEO.
Their cheap attempts, however, hit the wall after Kenyans on Twitter religiously rallied behind the blogger and soon, the hashtag #NyakundiTheLiar was full of tweets praising Mr. Nyakundi for his incredible efforts of sending chills down the corrupt's spines.
If that wasn't enough to show that Maryjane's cheap attempts were a huge flop, on Tuesday morning, the hashtag #NyakundiStrong was top of the Kenyan trends as even more social media users expressed their confidence in the blogger and demanded that he drops part three of the National Oil fraud series. Here is what Kenyans had to say.
