Today, the NHIF Board appointed Mr. Nicodemus Odongo as the acting CEO, as he awaits confirmation. To start with, Nicodemus Odongo was top for the NHIF CEO Job but the cartels decided he would not ascend, maybe all these scandals that have rocked the fund would not have happened. There has been a silent war between Nicodemus Odongo and Geoffrey Mwangi at the fund with the sacked CEO smearing Odongo in blogs because Odongo would not simply tolerate his bullshit and corruption. Geoffrey Mwangi Was Not An Intelligent Manager At one time, Mwangi accused the editor of this site of working with Odongo to end his career but I can confirm that I have never met Odongo, or interacted with him at any given time. Mwangi simply didn't know his friends and enemies, a bad thing for anyone in any management post.
Mwangi was weak, and unintelligent fella and petty mistakes have cost him his Job.
In his infinite wisdom, Geoffrey Mwangi accused Odongo, an Economist and Public Finance Expert of insubordination him in smear articles that appeared all over the internet.
According to a source from the fund that Cyprian Nyakundi spoke to, Geoffrey Mwangi reached his end days and started fighting everyone and even lost favour with the board, that is under pressure to be disbanded for overlooking corruption at the fund.
