She is infact the representation of the new cartel that is looting the institution more than ever before. She appointed Nicodemus Odongo as an acting Chief Executive (CEO) so as to have a leeway into the coffers of the govt agency that collects between Ksh2.8 - 3.2 billion per month. Hannah Muriithi is the defacto CEO, making decisions and receiving bribes from hospitals in order to release their capitation fees yet when she is called to answer to confirm or deny corruption allegations at NHIF she is quick to say 'call the CEO Mr. Odongo....
