MPs summon corrupt CS Macharia

Transport and Infrastructure Cabinet Secretary James Macharia has been directed to appear before the National Assembly on Thursday to explain a directive issued by government last week requiring all imported cargo to be transported using the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR). The directive stipulated that all cargo from the port in Mombasa shall be hauled the Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Nairobi for clearance.
