CAPTION: Riara Girls’ High School Principal Mrs Jane Mulinge Barely a day after an enraged parent unearthed massive rot at the Riara Springs Girls’ High School, more sources have come out to expose a dangerously toxic environment entrenched by the Principal, Mrs Jane Mulinge. In a story published in this blog on Tuesday, March 16th 2022, we shared an e-mail exclusively forwarded to this site's Chief Editor Cyprian Nyakundi from a furious guardian who accused Mrs Mulinge of perpetrating victimization, favouritism, body-shaming, and religious discrimination of the frustrated Form 3 and 4 students.
The source gave a detailed account of how the school has been actively trying to silence the girls who recently voiced their concerns during an impromptu interactive session which the Principal herself did not seem to appreciate.
Following the conclusion of the unofficial meeting, Mrs Mulinge is said to have breached the teacher-student-parent agreement and unleashed terror on all those that had dared to speak out.

But as we have sadly come to learn, this unfairly rude treatment did not entirely come as a surprise to the larger Riara Schools community.
The rogue Principal is known to harbour an extremely bad temper (backed by a bloated ego) which she often projects on the terrified girls whenever administering punishment.
As per information leaked to us by an insider, the mistreatment of students under Mrs Mulinge's watch has been ongoing for quite some time now.
For instance, during the second term in November 2021, the sustained oppression became so unbearable that the girls threatened to deploy other means to ensure their voices were heard.
They had suggested that the school accord them a short break from the busy syllabus schedule.
But instead of giving them an audience to air out their grievances, the Principal chose her usual unorthodox path and turned her back on the learners who expressed their dissatisfaction at the state of affairs in the school.
She branded the group as one made up of rebellious outcasts, who did not deserve a place in the otherwise prestigious institution.
Within no time, she had rung up policemen from a nearby station who stormed into the school and illegally detained the students for long hours until their parents came to pick them up. It was written all over the walls in the washroom. As usual, she intimidated some students who admitted to being tired and wanting a break to school and told parents the wrong narrative and practically has lighted the students and made the parents believe it was their children who wanted to burn down the school. Not to mention that she had promised the students that it was an open and free exercise to all who were genuinely tired and wanted to go home those who said they were tired ended up being treated like criminals accused of wanting to burn the school and were even escorted by policemen until their parents came for them and they were locked in a room forbidden to interact with other students. Yes, that’s how bad the situation at Riara is," our source writes.
