Blogger Dikembe Disembe has blasted the Kenyatta family's owned k24 for Glamourizing murder. The Kenyatta owned k24 posted a video of Jacque Maribe chatting with her father in court. This glamorization of murderers is a new low for Kenya media Jacque Maribe and her fiance Joseph Irungu alias Jowie were remanded until October 15, when they will take plea according to Justice Jessie Lessit.
Lessit ordered Maribe to be detained at Lang'ata Women's Prison. She will undergo a mental assessment at Mathare Mental Hospital. Jowie will be detained at Industrial Area Remand Prison.
"We are ready to take the plea today and have no objection to the mental assessment being taken later on," Maribe's lawyer Katwa Kigen said.
Maribe has been implicated in the gory murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani by her conduct and association with prime suspect Jowie. She allegedly ordered her household to burn the kanzu Irungu was allegedly wearing when he murdered Monica Kimani
When the murder scandal broke out, Feminists started blackmailing Kenyans to stop linking Maribe to the murder till mountains of evidence linked her, leading to silence from the prominent feminists.
After shedding tears in court, Maribe got sympathy from feminists and a few emotionally blackmailed Kenyans who sympathized with her situation and claimed she should not suffer that way just because of love despite evidence that she tried to cover up the murder.
