DP Ruto's Proxy Manduku
Money looted the Kenya Ports Authority may have been used to fund the KIBRA by elections, a source privy with the matter has told this site. Mariga is vying on a Jubilee ticket in the KIBRA by-elections, where he is competing with Imran Okoth who is vying on an ODM ticket.
In other news, the Kenya Ports Authority MD Dr. Arch. Daniel O. Manduku has been looking for ways to distance himself from the deputy president as eyebrows have been raised over his relationship with the most wanted political actor. DP Ruto lobbied for the appointment of Manduku to KPA.
A few days ago, Manduku and Former KPA MD Catherine Mturi-Wairi banks accounts were frozen after requests by the office of DPP Noordin Haji. This is after suspicious monies were traced to their accounts.
Manduku, who is DP Ruto’s proxy has been attempting to bribe detectives to go slow on him but anyone linked to DP Ruto must fall, they said.
The KPA is under a multi-agency investigation by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the DPP.
In other news, according to reports from other credible blogs, the KPA board Chaired by Joseph Kibwana has disowned its management executives dozens of who are on the spot over several procurement deals including in the purchase and commissioning of a simulator, purchase of freshwater, attempted bribery of investigators and corruption on the controversial Sh40 billion Kipevu Oil Terminal.
