The peasant farmers who were depending on them to protect their shares in the Kedong Ranch, were up for a rude shock after their directors sold their piece of land which worth Ksh8 billion in shares for a emasly Ksh2.1 billion. Muhotetu is the majority shareholder with 40.66% Kedong Ranch where the Government intends to put up an industrial park and the inland container terminal. The Government will pay for the stake in the ranch and that's how the cartel is planning to scheme Kshs. 7 Billion that ought to be paid to shareholders of Muhotetu. It is not a famous story in...
