Workers at Spice World Limited, the parent company behind the iconic Butterfly and Asanta cereal brands, have reached out to raise alarm over what they describe as a toxic leadership shift triggered by the arrival of a new Chief Revenue Officer. Staff expose unfair promotions, wage gaps, and intimidation under new leadership at Spice World, the company behind Butterfly cereals.
Since the executive’s entry earlier this year, employees report a wave of internal changes marked by favouritism, wage disparities, and a silencing of departmental autonomy. Several staff members allege that new hires closely aligned with the incoming leadership have been fast-tracked into influential roles with superior pay, breeding discontent and demoralization among longer-serving employees.
The sales department, in particular, has been flagged as ground zero for this upheaval.
Workers say they are now working under constant fear of termination, with little recourse or internal support.
Existing team leaders have reportedly been rendered voiceless, unable to challenge or question decisions made at the top.
The situation, as described, reflects a broader breakdown in internal cohesion, where merit appears secondary to connections, and institutional values are being compromised for short-term loyalties.

Many of us are scared of losing our jobs, and even our department leaders have no say since he is in power. We are constantly told that we are incompetent, and that’s why we aren’t being promoted. Especially in the sales department, we have no voice at all. Please help us before we lose our jobs."
