Kazi Mtaani program in Suna East sub county is facing serious threat of collapse and fraud. At the onset, government gave Suna East 1025 slots. This was mysteriously reduced to 748 people.
The rest of slots were filled with ghost from ministry of housing under the leadership of Lilian Nyakiti as county director of housing and Migori Municipal manager Mr. Olwalo.
As we speak, 8 kazi Mtaani supervisors that complained about this blatant fraud and corruption have been sent home. Madam Linet and Olwalo are not filling the job slots that fall vacant when youths leave. Instead she fills these gap with ghosts that earn without working.
Presently workers are hardly 657. Kenya Youths suffer much. When they realise the cheap alcohol imbibing parties, and piecemeal jobs do not help them build real wealth and then go on a riot demanding better. Things will start to change.
She is also changing the phone numbers and ID numbers of workers and poor youths denying them payment at will. In the last payment made to cohort A, over thirty youths missed payment over missing details or mismatch of payment information yet she submitted a full list to Ministry of Housing to make payment.
As youths suffer, they have colluded with municipal manager to swindle money meant for unemployed youths. Help me raise this alarm. Hide my identity as I work in this office.
