CAPTION: Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed A letter purporting to be a response from the Somalian government following Kenya's recalling of its ambassador to the country has emerged online.
In the letter, all Kenyan diplomats are asked to leave the nation within the next 72 hours. The Somalian Ministry of Foreign Affairs goes on to say that Kenya used a veiled and intimidating language when discussing the matter of the country's nationals residing in Kenya and have therefore, nullified all visas issued to Kenyan nationals.
The letter adds that from now henceforth, all Kenyans are unwanted in the Federal Republic of Somalia including Kenyan members of the AMISOM contingent sent for peacekeeping missions in the country. CAPTION: KDF soldiers in Somalia The ministry has also warned the Kenyan government that the Federal Republic of Somalia is ready to defend its territorial integrity. The letter finishes off by reminding Kenya that there are thousands of Somalis who hold Kenyan citizenship and that it would be wise to consider them before taking any further punitive actions.
The authenticity of the letter is still in question, but if it's indeed officially sent from the Somalian government, then the battle is definitely on.
