Leaked WhatsApp Chats Expose Rangwe MP Lilian Gogo's Vulgar Response to Criticism by Concerned Constituent

With just under two years to the 2027 General Election, one would expect elected leaders across the country to be on their best behaviour, listening more attentively to the public, aligning themselves with voters’ expectations, and treading carefully in their public and private conduct. Rangwe MP Lilian Gogo under fire after vulgar WhatsApp exchange with voter surfaces online, sparking outrage ahead of 2027 elections.

However, the latest incident involving Rangwe MP Dr. Lilian Gogo paints a worrying picture of just how disconnected, unbothered, and out-of-touch some politicians remain, not only making inflammatory and inappropriate remarks during public forums, but also doubling down by responding to concerned constituents with vulgar, dismissive and shockingly unprofessional language, thereby demonstrating a troubling disregard for both the decorum expected of public office and the dignity of the voters they are meant to serve.

According to one aggrieved constituent who took the initiative to privately register his disapproval over the MP’s inflammatory remarks, particularly her bizarre and indecorous references to the President’s personal anatomy, the response he received from the MP was not only unbecoming of a legislator, but also descended into an astonishing display of vulgarity, laced with sexually explicit taunts and juvenile provocations that deeply undermine the stature of public office.

The exchange began with the constituent, evidently disturbed by the MP’s earlier public remarks, delivering a candid and measured critique, imploring Dr. Gogo to uphold the dignity befitting a scholar and elected leader.

He questioned the relevance and propriety of her sexually suggestive statements made during a political address, warning that such utterances not only degrade the Luo community she represents but also reflect poorly on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party at large.

Rather than respond with sobriety or clarification, Dr. Gogo reportedly unleashed a barrage of explicit insults, laced with crude sexual innuendo, including repeated references to the man's genitalia and unsolicited, vulgar propositions.

At one point, she went as far as have gone as far as daring the constituent to engage her in a nude encounter to ‘verify’ his circumcision status, an interaction so wildly inappropriate and demeaning that it defies both logic and the ethical bounds of public service.

Following receipt of the screenshots and allegations, this publication undertook its own independent verification process to ascertain the authenticity of the phone number used in the exchange, and preliminary checks conducted via publicly available caller identification tools, specifically a Truecaller search, revealed that the number in question is indeed registered under the name of Hon Lilian Gogo, thereby strongly corroborating the constituent’s claim that the offensive and unprovoked responses originated from the MP herself.
