Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohammed has said he stands by his insults to president-elect William Ruto in a Twitter exchange with political commentator Edward Kisiangani
Edward Kisiangani shared a video that was recorded during the political campaign. In the video, Junet Mohammed is heard likening the president-elect to sheep with fake front teeth.

A few days ago, a few days to the supreme court ruling, Acclaimed lawyer Donald Kipkorir, who also doubles up as a ranking member of Raila Odinga's legal team, called for the immediate resignation of top-ranking members of the Raila Odinga Campaign Secretariat and Junet Mohammed's name made a cameo appearance.

There have been rife allegations that have been linking the lawmaker to the squandering of funds that were supposed to be paid to Azimio agents.
