Since Uhuru assumed power, all the economic gains made by his predecessor have gone down the drain, because CS's, Governor's and virtually every civil servant in on a looting spree.
Indeed, Government being the biggest purchaser narcissistically conspired to not honor payments to suppliers, further disrupting cash circulation in the economy. Many have gone bankrupt after doing business with Government, with the most notorious culprit being County Governments.
If God really existed, he would kill all Governor's and CS's in their sleep, who have consciously and deliberately precipitated this economic crisis, by only giving tenders to family members and their girlfriends. The truth is that God doesn't exist and just remains as a figment of the imagination of poverty-stricken masses, who are tooled to buy the theory of a “better future” in some land flowing with milk and honey.
The land flowing with milk and honey really does exist. These are the countries which have embraced good governance. Places like Norway and Sweden where corruption has been reduced to zero. But in the African mindset, he's been tooled to accept mediocrity as a way of life.
Even with the glaring facts on the economic downturn, idiots still lined up to vote for this retarded Government (twice) and now they're the same ones crying foul. An economy where the only people who seem to be thriving are comedians and civil servants.
In our continuing serialization of rogue landlords, we have encountered a few people exposed as celebrating the turmoil of tenants by hurriedly calling in auctioneers so as to acquire property at a throw away price. One such person is called George Fundi formerly of Azizi Realtors. I've received many complaints about this Fundi character who derives pleasure from auctioning tenants. I'll destroy your career my guy. I've taken many people home, you're very small fish.
This is a warning to him and his ilk. I will expose you and your employers, some who acquired their wealth through corruption and proximity to political power. Lay low like an envelope. I'm sure some of these quiet people who are fabulously wealthy wouldn't want us to shine the spotlight on them and their historical background tracing the source of their wealth.
So if the economy is bad, it's bad for everyone. And landlords should understand that Uhuru has fucked this economy. First and foremost the prices of rent are grossly exaggerated in Kenya, largely aided by garbage publications like Business Daily, who have been touting a fictional real-estate boom. They were bribed by companies like Hass Consult, Suraya, Mwenda Thuranira of MySpace Properties and Knight Frank to do so.
The truth is that corruption money was being laundered through real-estate, creating this cosmetic boom being hyped by Githeri media. Corrupt people working in Government saw building apartments as the best form of financial security. The fake lifestyle audit unfortunately didn't manage to recover some of these properties built with proceeds of crime.
Moving on, I've received many complaints on Githeri landlords who caused untold misery and suffering by auctioning their tenants. You are under my spotlight you assholes.
The victim in question has been evicted ILLEGALLY & forcefully by the EVIL Minded management of Pioneer with an eviction order from Milimani courts not served on them or their lawyers - Previous case at Milimani was withdrawn by Pioneer Lawyer’s once they discovered their ILL intentions - BPRT then gave orders to stop eviction, harassment etc - & they came with new orders given by Milimani courts with a new case number - notice of which wasn’t even served on us or our lawyers - & a court order issued for eviction without our knowledge & auctioneers just gutted the whole chemist & threw all stock & furnitures & fittings on the street.
Rup Pharm established in 1981 now gutted to nothing.

Reminds me of this moronic company called KTDA. They forcefully evicted a nightclub in their Koinange Street property who used to run the iconic nightclub called Florida 2000 (Mad House). That facility alone had held the art-scene of the CBD together. Tourists and locals alike flocked the place in droves, everyday of the week.
Why was the joint so successful? Because somehow there, women knew they are going to get fucked, unlike places like Kiza where pyramid schemes are the order of the day. Guys are forced to buy bottles of Whisky and Champagne for ladies who will later bail out and go home alone. The “know your worth” type of women who have acquired a profound sense of entitlement as if they patented some new innovation or something.
Anyways, the ripple effect of evicting Florida 2000 from CBD has been far-reaching, leading to the closure of nearly all other bars in CBD. They've now been replaced with Somali restaurants which close early, leaving Nairobi as a dead town by as early as 8pm.
When Pioneer Holdings auctions a pharmacy that has been in existence since 1981, we tend to question their motives. That is not right at all. This predatory way of doing things must be brought to an end. We need tougher laws on landlords because they're not the ones who generate wealth. They then cannot be given priority as if rent contributes to the country's GDP.
Enterprise does. And you cannot subject the people doing business to such horrific incidents. Shame.
