KRA Commissioner-General James Mburu After the recent crackdown on alleged corrupt Kenya Revenue Authority employees that saw many junior revenue officers arraigned in court then later remanded for a number of days purportedly to allow time for full investigations to take place, it has now emerged that those arrested and arraigned in court were just but scapegoats to hoodwink the general public. While the detectives involved in the investigations of the said KRA employees made their case by investigating the employees data on KRA computer systems which included Tax Legacy, Integrated Customs Management, Simba 2005 Manifest, Bio-metric Access Systems and news, they were completely looking the wrong way if they were to unearth the real corruption...
