Kisii County is a hub of entertainment following Kakamega County closely in providing shocking news. Yesterday, in a small village in Borabu sub-county in Kisii County a wedding turned somber after a bridegroom reportedly collapsed during the wedding.
Residents, guests, and family in Nyasiongo ward, Borabu Sub County were met with shock after Mr. Wilberforce Omwenga who had finally decided to marry the bride after a short relationship fell in the middle of the ceremony, unconscious.
Reports by local area radio station indicate that all was well planned, wedding preparations done as delicious food, colorful wedding clothes, and the wedding ceremony was arranged very brilliantly in adherence to the Covid-19 directives.
The ceremony went on, as usual, everything very normal up until time for the bride and the bridegroom to exchange their vows of love, protection, and faithfulness. While swearing her vows, the bride administered the first shock to everybody at the ceremony, saying she could not vow lies, she revealed she had four children outside that her lover did not know about.
No sooner had the bride completed her confession than the second shock was administered, the groom instantly collapsed and totally lost consciousness.
Awestruck, Nobody knew what do, a commotion ensued while pastors and the relatives tried to give the young husband and now stepfather to four children first aid.
