To which Elon Musk replied, "If WFP can describe on this Twitter thread exactly how $6B will solve world hunger, I will sell Tesla stock right now and do it," Musk replied then added, "But it must be open source accounting, so the public sees precisely how the money is spent". It is not easy to read Elon Musk's tweets without finding a vein of sarcasm in them in such situations.
This followed the same manner. It opened a pandora's box on what many a book on how AID works not as a solution to many of the world's problems. The fraud in donor funds often stinks to high heaven and most of the billions of dollars end up in the management pockets.
