The family of Mary Kusa Etale, a young girl who was brutally murdered by the vehicle driven by Safaricom's Chief Customer Officer Ms. Sylvia Wairimu Mulinge.
The new Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji, promising to go against his corrupt predecessor Keriako Tobiko who had ‘burried’ the case promised to appeal but came the date set for appeal which was 14th April 2019 nothing happened.
The family is left with nothing more to defend them other than the constant reminder by this blog that Sylvia Wairimu Mulinge need to be charged with a traffic offence and murder. The misrepresentation of facts by the police meant that the case when it came to Judge Odunga it fell.
Court officials are said to have been compromised too.
Even the celebrity DPP Noordin Haji has fallen in the same trap since the case seems to have gone ‘cold’. The office of the Director of Public Prosecutions isn’t even talking about it.

Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Nicholas Mutuku in November 2017 said Ms Mulinge will be charged anew after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) filed a case at the Kibera Chief Magistrate’s court without the approval of the ODPP.
Mr Mutuku also accused the police of mishandling the case and asked the officer in charge of prosecutions at Kibera law courts to file a new case. It is imperative to report that on the morning of February 1st 2015, a Toyota Prado registration number KBU 483M driven by a drunk Safaricom Executive Sylvia Wairimu Njuguna aka Sylvia Mulinge fatally knocked young Mary Kusa Etale along the Southern Bypass Road in Nairobi’.
The vehicle was registered in Safaricom’s names.
The case has had a back and forth between the police and the ODPP.
Justice has not been done for five years.
However, one thing is for sure, Ms. Mulinge who wanted to ‘flee’ to Tanzania to become the head of Safaricom sister company Vodafone failed, because of this murder case. A norm at the ODPP Just like the Ruaraka land scam where the government paid Ksh3.3 billion to purchase land from itself, hence rip-off, the authorities handling this case have been compromised and have colluded to defeat justice and deny young Mary Kusa Etale’s family peace.

It is important to note that Safaricom’s deep pocket and Sylia Mulinge being at the top of the Telco’s management many people have been compromised along the way.
