ODM has been the loudest and super excited partner in the handshake marriage. With that crazy hype, they are definitely overzealous to perform whatever they were ‘hired for’, and that includes to hype, pass bills, impeach, save, build or destroy any possible opponent of the dynasties.
If its business they must be racking in well but how they are handling ‘a client’ from their own Kieleweke circles is pathetic. Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru is facing a near possible impeachment but to survive she needs Odinga’s services in the floor of the senate.
She met ODM leader Raila Odinga last week, though Odinga denied it, his boys confirmed it when they publicly argued about the deal. ODM chairman John Mbadi initially denied that the deal had been sealed but had to later retract and agree with the outspoken Suna East Mp Mohamed Junet.
Junet also doubles up as the manager of political affairs in ODM and a sycophantic Baba supporter. He put it that their party stands with women and so the all corruption allegations levelled against Waiguru is a fight against the female gender. They rubber stamped ‘huduma number project’, Galana Kulalu project and they even tried to defend the infamous South China plane with 239 passengers.
Coronavirus had been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization; many nations were locking down their borders and airspace. Numbers in Italy were catching up with those of China which is the epicentre of the pandemic.

She was acquitted in a low profile fashion but what! She had the capital to step into the business of politics and win with the first shot. Only a woman with money bags and ‘balls’ does that.
The cheque written to ODM for this 'sanitization job' also looks big. To get Junet and Mbadi arguing and Senator James Orengo happy that will make their judgement based on the evidence that will be adduced to the senate. [p/courtesy]The style in which Waiguru presented her voluminous evidence is not any different from how ODM, CORD or NASA presented evidence to the Supreme Court. Same style. They exaggerated it in 2013 when they did it with old pickups and a sweating Raila rushing to the registrar with falling files and photo copied papers.
Right now, the body language of Senator James Orengo who is part of the senate committee looking into the Waiguru Impeachment case is a clear indicator that they are just waiting for day they will make sense of the cheque.
How ODM is playing the covid-19 politics is not different from how they did funeral politics. They are urging people to stay at but flauting covid-19 rules. Raila has been crossing to Kajiado County, to Mzee Francis Atwoli’s home to play dynasty politics.
They are doing it for Waiguru, the dynasty and handshake at the same time. Waiguru's impeachment is a rubber stamp job for thee orange party, something they have been doing since the 'handshake' deal.
The embattled Kirinyaga governor survived the first hurdle last Tuesday after the senate chose to execute her case through a select committee.
The committee led by Kakamega Senatot Cleophas Malala and deputized by Abshiro Halake is expected to deliver their report by Friday.
