Kenyans have raised concerns after the Immigration Department reportedly removed Category A Series (34 Pages) and B Series (50 pages) passports from the application system, forcing Kenyans to apply for Category C which is way more expensive.
When questioned, Director General Mr. Muteshi argues that the 34-page and 50-page passports have been exhausted and applicants must first deplete the remaining 66-page passports. Despite charging Kenyans Sh7,550 for the C Series (66 pages) passport, some have complained about receiving the A Series (34 Pages) – the same one they claim to be out of stock – which goes for Sh4,550; a whooping difference of Sh3,000 which is pocketed by greedy officials. “Hi Nyakundi, I like the work that you do on this platform.
