Kenyans Unearth Passports Scam At The Immigration Department

Alexander Muteshi Imbenzi is the Director General at the Directorate of Immigration and Citizen Services since 2018. Before joining Immigration, he was the Director of Counterterrorism with the National Intelligence Service. Kenyans have raised concerns after the Immigration Department reportedly removed Category A Series (34 Pages) and B Series (50 pages) passports from the application system, forcing Kenyans to apply for Category C which is way more expensive. When questioned, Director General Mr. Muteshi argues that the 34-page and 50-page passports have been exhausted and applicants must first deplete the remaining 66-page passports.
