Conman in Chief Habbakuk Wamududa, (Right) chairman of the Kenya Qatar Diaspora Sacco Limited
After the editor of this site exposed the Kenya Qatar Diaspora Sacco Limited (KQDS); more Kenyans that have been scammed by the Sacco shared information in the replies and Facebook page inbox.
The Sacco which is managed by a conman posing as a pastor Habbakuk Wamududa, has perennially failed to honor its promises to its over 3000 members.
Most Kenyan youths leave the country in search of greener pastures in the middle East. They endure much discrimination, Exploitation and untold hardships in order to make ends meet.
Some chose to start a good venture by opening a Savings and Cooperatives by the name of Kenya Qatar Diaspora Sacco Limited, but they ended up duped.
Their story is sad.
The pastor involves himself in looting. For example, in the last elections, he used money stolen from the Sacco to fund the campaigns of a cousin who was running to be a member of County Assembly in Bungoma.
Some have been conned over Kshs. 200,000 yet the Sacco cannot even honor a loan of Kshs. 100,000.
Whoever tries to raise a complaint with the management is fired.
'This man masquerading as a man of GOD is a very big thief. He has been arrogantly and proudly swindling members money from the sacco', stated one member
Another member had to involve the services of a lawyer in order to be given back their log books.
It is open thievery, unrestrained like a Greedy Hyena.
'That Wamudu is a highly corrupt arrogant taxi driver.. that's the only thing he can do hiding under the bible and long gowns with a priestly collar!', another member shouted.
Where did the money go?
The management led by Habakkuk has used the savings of hardworking Kenyans to enrich themselves.

I have a very very very painful history since I came to Doha. I lost money severally not coz of carelessness but coz of overtrusting. I almost gave up in 2016 when Habbakuk came into existence and convinced us that there's life at the end of the tunnel if we joined KQD SACCO. I thanked God and joined KQD and decided to save in the Sacco because I knew it was more safer saving in the SACCO than trusting my family. Now it's another tragedy that adds into my list of disappointments.
HABBAKUK WHEREVER YOU ARE, PLEASE I DON'T NEED ANY DIVIDENDS, I DON'T NEED ANY INTEREST EARNED FROM MY SAVINGS, I DONT WANT ANY ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS ON TOP OF MY SAVINGS. At the time my son was in 4th form and my daughter was in 3rd form.. I had envisioned that in 3 years time I'll have saved enough for their college.. So I started saving and focused on their future.... Fast forward 2019 my son is to join Chuka University in September and my Daughter is to join Maasai Mara University at the same time.... All my savings hopes and dreams are to say mildly.. Dead....my company declared me redandunt in Feb 2019 but I got another job although not as good..I needed something to hang on to as we iron out things in the sacco. My hopes were in this sacco where I had saved.. How can I tell my children that they will not be able to go to the university because I invented badly. - He always used harsh words to anyone that could ask a question this was his cover to avoid scrutiny by making members afraid to ask questions to avoid embarrassment.
- He insisted that the committee should never be given allowances this was to make them loose interest in attending the meetings, how can people appointed to take care of our millions use their own money instead of saving to serve us, kwani hii ni comeette ya matanga?
- He used to pinpoint some of the people that he knows very well they have benefited and praise them how they are 'millionaires' before people, little did we realize he was fooling others. I have personally made so many investment mistakes in life BUT the worst of them all was to join kqd. I personally can swallow the bullet what of the people I convinced to join kqd???? I was bundled out of office in one of the AGM!...after a bitter exchange with the chairman on WhatsApp group and he told me "I will know his true colours"...members cheered him on!...truly time heals everything!...I stood my ground and I said "serving as a board member is not a matter of life and death to me there so many able Kenyan who could perform the task better than me". That was the time I was replaced by Eric Mwale....even elections were not done in a proper way but I said "haidhuru"...time will tell!...
