Such is the nature of Kenyans in high-society. Pretentious folk who smile with you at your peak, but pray for your downfall. And it's unfortunate that the people who matter like Bob Collymore, unfortunately surround themselves with sycophants instead of people who speak the truth.
Because if Bob Collymore had real friends, they wouldn't have allowed him to marry that woman. She does not deserve him and will be the figure that blocks his shine.
Wambui is your typical natural-haired, wannabe artistic and thought-sharing feminist, whose "liberal" views have forced her to deviate from customs and traditions. That in an African set-up, a woman's family can't accept bride price twice. Reason why the wedding was attended largely by beneficiaries of Bob Collymore's deals and not Wambui's larger family.
This was someone who was married to Joseph Kinyua and is a mother of twins. Before that she had been with Jacob Juma many years ago, something that indicates that she's a money-hungry financial security worshipping female.
Any woman that dates Jacob Juma largely does so for the money, and there have been many eg Esther Arunga. But reports indicate that Wambui only dated Juma for two months before being dethroned by another hottie by the name of Karen Nyamu.
Now Karen Nyamu is quite some work of art and apparently dumped Jacob Juma for Deputy President William Ruto, and many are quick to connect the bile Juma has for "Number 2" to his bruised ego after being eliminated in the battle of Karen's booty. The pushers of demand for the services of gold-diggers are very few in Nairobi. Even rich thieves who've brought down state corporations and publicly-listed companies like Chris Kirubi know better than to transfer property to a woman's name.
The men who have enabled this toxic ecosystem to thrive are very few. That even with the over-supply of booty from campus girls to corporates in Nairobi, they are still chasing after some psychopaths shows that they also have some inferiority-complex because these gold-diggers compliment and mask their deepest insecurities.
