Inspector-General of Police Hillary Mutyambai is under by Kenyans on social media to explain why public resources are being allocated to people like Lucy Natasha. Several Kenyans on social media condemned Reverend Lucy Natasha, the lead preacher of Latter Glory Ministries after she shared a video of herself going somewhere with a heavy, armed uniformed security detail comprising the National Police Service vehicles. In the video, police are seen opening her car's vehicle and escorting her. In the recent past, some Kenyans have accused the Rev of harassing motorists with her traffic laws, despite not having clearance. In 2019, A new directive regarding special road privileges for Kenyan VIPs was issued by the Inspector General of Police, Hillary Mutyambai, who cleared just four Cabinet Secretaries (CSs). Their respective Principal Secretaries (PSs) were also mentioned as the only elite group of individuals allowed to flout regular traffic regulations. The four were identified as, CS for Defence, CS Interior and Coordination of National Government, CS Finance, and CS Foreign Affairs. All the other CSs were warned that their drivers would be arrested and charged if caught in violation of traffic regulations.
