Yesterday morning as they went about their duties, they heard people cutting trees on our farm.
When they went to inquire about what was happening, they were met At the scene were armed local police sent to man the process.
They were trespassing and demolishing property including cutting down trees.These goons together with two police officers were sent by the local MCA Martin Jamanur of Nabiswa ward Birunda village.
They forcefully gained entry and started cutting down trees insisting that they had to cut down the trees so that they can install a high voltage power without consulting the land owners.
Bearing in mind this is a private land which is not even on the road reserve. When they were asking why their property was being destroyed they were told that they cannot question the government. Mr.MCA why do you send quacks to erect high voltage electric lines without the knowledge of KPLC?
Why do you send goons to attack, humiliate injure and embarrass innocent landowners?
