How Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o steals from medical workers

Professor Anyang' Nyong'o, Governor, Kisumu County Dear Mr. Cyprian Nyakundi Kisumu county government is mistreating us. Am one of health workers who got employed by the aforementioned county government on contract for 3 years. We got our appointment letters in the month of November 2019 and deployed in the month of May 2020. Our problems started immediately after the coronavirus outbreak when the National Government step in for the employment of more health workers to help contain the virus. Kisumu county government withdrew our early appointment letters and gave us a new contract which shows that we were now employees of the national Government (Note! We didn't even do the interview for the said job opportunities). Old contracts with SRC remuneration were taken and we were given new contracts of Sh50k payment consolidated. The national government rejected our appointment because: (1) We didn't apply, (2)we never did an interview, (3)Already we were employed by the county. Since we were deployed, we have been going to work, we get salary payment through petty cash, we don't even have employment numbers, we can't even take loans even to further our education. It's a prison! The difference is pocketed by the County Government. It's serious corruption! We tried to down our tools but we were threatened with the sack. Now we are left with no hope! We approached Governor to discuss the issue and he dismissed us, we have approached the Union and it seems like they are in bed with Kisumu county public service board. Please if you can air this issue, you will save the lives of very many health workers. In total, we are 177 Health Workers. Thank you for your continued support
