Black Lives Matter became nationally recognized for its street demonstrations following the 2014 deaths of two African Americans: Michael Brown, resulting in protests and unrest in Ferguson, and Eric Garner in New York City. Their presence is being felt in the current US Presidential elections and has been subject of songs by leading artists like Common ft. John Legend's "Glory" and Beyonce's dramatic Super Bowl performance. Infact the Black Lives Matter movement has sought to distance itself from Reverend Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, and repeatedly said that they don't represent the interests of the black community. He forgets that there can be no peace without justice. Indeed, many of you will remember Reverend Jesse Jackson attended President Uhuru Kenyatta's inauguration invited by Anglo Leasing frontman Jimmy Wanjigi, and he purportedly "mediated" peace meetings between Uhuru and opposition leader Raila Odinga at Wanjigi's residence in Muthaiga. Jesse Jackson is indeed a broker and opportunistic harlot an we are glad that the new generation of blacks in America are doing away with such scumbags. Unlike Diallo's campaign, Black Lives Matter movement has no hierachy or structure and is just an amorphous assembly of like-minded individuals who use their influence on social-media to champion for justice. The same is happening in Kenya where unlike previously when many of you relied on Twitter leading lights like Robert Alai, Boniface Mwangi and Ory Okolloh to relay your messages, the general feeling was that something always came in the way of true reaction. They don't participate in people-driven hashtags, they deliberately mislead their followers with random sporadic postings, with no particular reaction or results. These are the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons of Kenya. Traitors to the cause. They had the chance to change Kenya, but conceded their position so as to feed their families, grow their NGO's and become celebrities. The editor of this website Cyprian Nyakundi has deliberately turned down 11 requests for interviews with virtually all TV networks in Kenya, because it would be hypocritical to ride on the basis of information shared by whistle-blowers, that is causing the shit-storm that we are witnessing today. Why should anyone take credit from information handed in good faith by honest Kenyans who are tired of crime, injustice and fraud in their places of work? Why should anyone aspire to be a celebrity figure using content that isn't originally theirs
We will note tire telling you of the importance of whistle-blowing. You can choose to give mainstream media journalists who will sit on them, or you can send them to us as we are building a collaborative network of individuals who want to use social-media to effect change. You could have lost a tender due to tricks played by the company or government agency you were bidding at, you could have lost your job, you could be a victim of a scam, you could be a member of COTU and you know that Francis Atwoli has been paying Irene Kendi for sex, etc.

Please help parents who are suffering under the guise of forced holiday tuition by public schools. While schools were supposed to close, they detain pupils from all classes who did not attain an A grade for holiday tuition. Parents are informed last minute to pay for the students holiday upkeep! such schools as Mary Hill girls, Moi girls Lanet. Teachers do not seem to appreciate the Ministry's policies.
The thing is, why are children being forced to be on tuition during holidays? So that they can cram and become robots like most Kenyans who underwent the mediocre 8-4-4 system are? Students should be allowed to explore other gifts like arts, languages, playing instruments, sports, travel, or even do community work. This whole nonsense of confining children to books all their productive time has to stop.
Some of us went for even night-tuition and that mediocre 8-4-4 education hasn't helped us one bit. Kenyans aren't globally competitive because we lack basic trouble-shooting or analytical skills, reason why characters like Janet Mbugua or the bribed business journalist Terryanne Chebet or even the fake Anderson Cooper Larry Madowo couldn't survive working in South Africa or with global networks like CNBC. That's why we have sycophants in either side of the political divide without ideology. We now ask parents who have their students doing holiday tuition to collect them and spend more time with them. The culture of conceding your parental roles to greedy teachers seeking tuition money to supplement their earnings is hopeless and pathetic. Parents step-up! Nobody forced you to procreate. Don't be mediocre parents.
We cannot keep on crying to an aloof President, hopeless Cabinet Secretaries or mentally-retarded Governors whose major pre-occupation is to loot our money. Time for we Kenyans to take charge of our own destiny.
