A local man from Embakasi, Nairobi county, is counting significant losses after his plans for an action-packed weekend turned out to be an absolute nightmare.
Writing to us on Monday, July 11, the gentleman, whose identity will be kept anonymous, narrated how he was shocked to return home to an empty house just hours after a one-night stand with a female acquaintance.
In his own words, the victim explains that the incident which was reported at Kwa Mbao Police station [OB 06 OF 10/07/2022] originally began as an impromptu sleepover on Friday evening when the lady whom he had known since last year spontaneously asked to visit him.
The request hardly came as a surprise given that the two had previously linked up several times.
Last week marked more than five months since they met.
Considering the city's freezing weather conditions, it undoubtedly felt like a blessing from the forebears.
But little did he know he was about to fall into a heavy financial pitfall by losing all household items and personal belongings, including his cash.
