It was the end of the road for two suspected thieves in Embu County after angry locals near Karurumo Market set them up on fire in broad daylight.
The two are believed to have been behind a series or robberies in the area with one resident saying that they used to climb on top of shops' roofs at night and making their way inside by dismantling the roofing.
Police at the area arrived and confirmed the two witnesses dead.
