Ghanaian football star Asamoah Gyan has made a shocking declaration involving his financial status. Gyan said that he was bankrupt and that he is unable to provide for his family who he hasn't been in touch with for four months now. The former Sunderland striker and Ghana's main man at the 2010 World Cup was once among the highest paid players in the world but now, according to a Ghanaian news source, he only has roughly $700 in his bank account. Since leaving The Stadium of Light in 2012, Gyan spent three years in the UAE with Al Ain where he earned around £200k a week and scored an impressive 123 goals in 120 appearances.
