Apart from laying off workers, Fly540 is experiencing many challenges even as Kenyans keep using the airline despite warning that it is totally unsafe and a disaster. We have on many occasions exposed the Fly 540 CEO Don Smith and indicated that he runs his company with an iron fist and would rather risk lives and make money than comply with aviation safety guidelines.

Today, Fly 540, delayed for two hours for a forty minutes trip to Kisumu over mechanical issues on the place, a traveller has alerted us.

Apart from being rude and unapologetic, the Fly540 attendants showed no remorse at all.

Could it be that they are still operating planes with mechanical issues?
