It was out of an invitation of junior employees ( Accountants) to bars and nightclubs by members of the NITA BOARD (Ernest Nadome, Tom Kakhame & Chris Nabanga ) between Jul 2015 and Oct 2015.
Gabriel Obasie, Thomas Nakitare and a Mr Nyangau peddled lies and alarmist statements against employees of the Dept of Levy Inspectorate based on their continuous facilitation to undertake field duties.
Based on information obtained in their line of duty, the accountants because of having got employment courtesy of the said Board Members, had to look for faults in Finance, share with Ernest Nadome and co. so that they may get work to do at NITA from time to time, hence earn a higher frequency of sitting allowances.
THE SAID ACCOUNTANTS BECAME ENVIOUS OF WHAT LEVY OFFICERS WERE EARNING IN ALLOWANCES TO ADVANCE THE WORK IN THE FIELD. MR KOSGEI WAS BY-PASSED AND TO DATE, HE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED BUT FEARS TO SPEAK THE TRUTH.
