Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji, in February, directed the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to investigate the looting of Kericho based Imarisha Sacco, a letter sent to us by a source at the DCI confirms.
Our source sent us the letter after word spread that the corrupt officials are trying to compromise the Directorate Of Criminal Investigations not to do thorough investigations and recommend the charging of the mentioned officials.
DPP Noordin Haji demanded the investigations after five members of the Sacco sent a dossier dated 22nd October 2018 seeking the office to salvage their Sacco from the verge of collapsing.
The Chief editor of this site, Cyprian Nyakundi, has learnt that an article he did a year ago exposing the rogue Sacco was the key eye-opener that led to the demand for the investigations confirming that this site has become a key asset in the fight against corruption and the culture of impunity. The complaint dossier, reveals among other things, allegations of serious corruption, embezzlement by leaders of the Sacco including the board of directors, Chief executive officer, Internal auditor and officials of Kericho county Co-operative.
The editor of this site, after doing a further probe, confirms that members funds have been misappropriated hence need to MOVE THEIR MONIES IMMEDIATELY.
Members must make it their personal responsibility to call the Sacco officials, and demand for their CHUMS before it is too late.
