BIFU is a trade union that specifically covers employees in Banks, Insurance, Saccos, Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), National Social Security Fund (NSSF), Forex Bureaus, Money changers, Kenya Women Finance Trust (KWFT), Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) among others.
The man is very corrupt, those in the know accuse him of using the over Kshs. 7 million contributions received from workers as personal bank account; where he withdraws money without due diligence.

Yesterday, we mentioned one Jubilee Insurance worker by the name Peter Kapistran Mwaiseghe as one of the people supporting the flouting of the constitution of BIFU.
One message for Salesio is that, the level he holds at the bank doesn't allow him to be a member of the union.
With Peter Kapistran Mwaiseghe and Salesio Kaburu Mutwiri, supporting the impunity at BIFU that continues to molest, oppress and rape the rights of workers, were their respective companies to sabotage workers rights?
Cnyakundi.com learned that Kapistran and Salesio have been made aware that they are breaking the rules and need to relinquish their positions for more able bodied and law abiding members, but they have stuck to their guns for a measly pay from Isaiah Kubai. Mr. Kubai advised them to start depositing union dues secretly in the account from November, 2018 so that they can mascarade as paying up members of BIFU. Salesio has since changed his account number where Kubai used to pay him from where he works to another bank i.e. Jamii Bora Bank may be to cause loss of trail due to some members reporting the theft at DCI late last year.
Management staff are not supposed to be interfere with the Union matters; the way they sit pretty in their positions makes one think that they have the full blessings of their respective financial institutions. In fact, Salesio is a trustee of the Union (BIFU) yet no member of the union knows any asset regsitered in the name of the union. The union funds have been used to purchase several vehicles and assets registered in the name of Mr. Kubai and these might be the assets that Mr. Salesio is a trsutee to. We are reliably informed that he (Mr. Selasio) attended a meeting convened by Mr. Kubai on 3rd May, 2019 in the Nairobi CBD. We got informed that he collected Kshs. 2500 and signed to have attended a meeting that never took place.
