The recent auditor general's reports pertaining to spending in various ministries have exposed deep rot within the state departments. The National Drought Management Authority has also not been left behind pertaining this wastage and plunder of public resources. The corrupt agency is headed by some misguided fella called Mr James Oduor and it remains a mystery why the Directorate of criminal investigations and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission have not raided this agency as the anti-corruption purge wheels revolve. When contacted by the auditor general, Mr James Oduor would not show how it identified the beneficiaries of the cash and the rates used for payment, revealing that a lot of fraud might have happened.
